Its great when you strike a chord

I've come to realise that sometimes its not what you say but how you say it that strikes a chord with people. I've never thought of myself as having any form of eloquence and my English marks bear testament to that sad fact. I was more interested in the cute guys doing athletics on the field than actually learning to write.

It took many many years and some encouragement at the right time in my life (thanks K) for me to realise that hey perhaps I can write after all. I don't profess to be the next Sylvia Plath, Ernest Hemingway, J.R.R.Tolkien or Kathy Reichs, but if I can get people to feel something when I write - then I think my job is done.

So keep reading, laughing, remembering and feeling something - its what makes me want to do this every day!!
