Above is a picture of me taken when I was about 6 months old back in December 1971. We had just moved from Durban to Johannesburg as my Dad had been transferred in the bank. When I look back at the picture and others, it seems like a lifetime ago. I was by all accounts a placid baby, enjoyed eating and sleeping (some things never change!) and being tickled. Life seemed so simple then!!
