My new toy

Shortly to be unveiled. It is a Canon Power Shot XS 100 IS. To someone like me who is "camera challenged" to put it nicely- it is the pinnacle of cameras! It can do so much - the manual alone is over 200 pages and reading it nearly made my head explode.

I have driven my mother and the cats mad with my incessant clicking as I experiment with different views and angles. The reason for my purchase is simple - I want to be able to record my world in the way that I see it. Photographs are subjective things, they reflect the view and emotions of the taker, and I too, want to use this to capture my environment.

So, you shall see the first pictures of my fumblings in due course....
