Its that time of the year again

You know when the leaves start to fall and the mornings become crisper that it is time for that "wonderful" of company events - the annual conference. Most of the staff - no all of them I think would rather have their teeth extracted without anaesthetic than have to endure another year of the boss and his ramblings. This year the theme is environmentally inclined, and how we can make the world a better place by going green (or some rubbish to that effect anyway!). I for one am just grateful not to have been chosen as one of the poor unfortunates to attend the conference and have to sit my way through hour upon hour of endless waffle.

It is the same every year, things are said, initiatives and ideas are considered, but nothing is ever followed through on, and one is left wondering what on earth is the point of it all. The boss takes it upon himself to give his "doctoral dissertation" lasting many hours and so scripted that you could repeat it word for word - the same old rubbish dressed another way and cloaked in different language, but still the same.

The staff are all just grateful when the conference is over and life can return to a form of normality and slavery.

It is coming beware sanity!!
