There has been lots of discussion recently about the proliferation of blogs by every person under the sun. With the explosion of the Internet, it seems as if everyone now has a voice and instrument by which to record every thought and experience of their daily lives. Some blogs are brilliant and you manage to gain an incredible insight into not only the person but their world around them. They are self-effacing, humorous but always cognisant of their responsibility to put down what they do in the best way they can.
You are able to find a myriad of people out there sharing their thoughts and views on what happens around them or to them. Twitter is one of those and is fast becoming a social revolution all in its own. Politicians are twigging onto its potential and those in Washington are using it to keep the public in touch with what is going on, either in the political realm or in their daily lives. One politician even twittered that one minute you can be talking to the President of the United States and the next minute shovelling snow from your driveway! Barack Obama is certainly aware of the enormous potential of blogging and the Internet, and used it with staggering success during his presidential campaign.
So blog away - its good for you!
