Rats nil - Cats full

The ratting season is well underway here and the cats are gorging themselves on a variety of various sized rodents. We have the common garden variety, then occasionally if lucky (sarcasm here!) you get a whopper!

On Tuesday night we had a beaut! Hell it was almost as big as our one cat! all that remained was the tail and part of the entrails and its head, but it was a big un!

We've taken their murderous exploits in our stride, and have the morning clean-up to a T! I reckon Crime Scene Investigation clean-up teams could learn something from us. Between the mopping up of blood and body parts, we are becoming quite good at this!

Meanwhile the cats sit and watch and wait for the next time....
